About Springfield, MO

Springfield, Missouri is the home to friendly people, a great living and working environment, and beautiful landscapes.  There are many area lakes close by such as Lake of the Ozarks and Taneycomo/Tablerock Lakes in Branson, Missouri.  Springfield’s crime rate is among the lowest in the country and, although the standard of living in Springfield is rated extremely high by its citizens, the cost of living here is low.

There are a little over 370,000 citizens living in the Springfield Metro area.  There are many elementary schools, 10 public middle schools and 5 public high schools.  There are also several private schools to choose from as well as universities and colleges.

Springfield has a state of the art airport that was just built in the last several years as well as the new Branson airport in Branson, Missouri.  Springfield is right down the road from Branson, Missouri and has many beautiful trails for cycling and running. The downtown area is a great place for families with festivals, First Friday Artwalk and the Springfield Cardinals!
